New painting, van trippin & Alps

I have been able to dedicate more time to painting this August. I am currently working on a landscape of the Lake District and Langdale Pikes, The style is a move away from my recent 1930's style works, having now gone almost full time to painting I am using the time to try new techniques. Work in progress. A quick trip to Ennerdale and run of the Ennerdale Horseshoe has given me more ideas of images I would like to paint, there are just so many! I have also managed a quick trip to the Alps, the mountains there are magnificent!
