I am first and foremost a landscape painter, born and living in the Lake District.
I studied Foundation Art at Leeds College of Art and Design (2000) and Fine Art (BA Hons) at Loughborough University (2004), and I have exhibited in London, Cambridge and the Lake District, as well as undertaking a number of commissions.
My work is inspired by the Cumbrian fells, nature and mountains of the world. I am a keen climber, fell runner and traveller, and I aim to paint the fleeting moments from the places I visit.
I use Oil Paint to create hand made, unique and original paintings. I have recently been exploring the theme of the 1930's Railway Posters with a modern twist.
